'Sam' - callang about govt windows scrappage in 'my post code area' - could I confirm I was the home owner? Asked him (twice) who he was trying to get, and he hung up Probable scam

This number called my 90 year old mother posing as the fraud department from the Bank of Scotland. He said 2 lots of money had left her account and they were chasing this up. Thankfully she phoned the bank and it was confirmed that these transactions had not happened. It was a scam, I think to get her personal details, not any account numbers - perhaps identity theft. He phoned her again today apologising for not phoning back yesterday but my mum was very blunt with her replies and he hung up.

SPAM A guy with a scouse accent, called up saying he was from Fleetpoint Magazine, sounded very odd, almost intoxicated. Was pressing for information about company vehicles but seemed very against actually explaining WHY he wanted that information. On multiple occasions he asked for different people in the company to ask instead of dealing with me and after many attempts I finally got to the bottom of the nature of his call. Cryptocurrency scammer. I'm pretty sure he actually said the phrase "You signed up online. I wanted to know if you were still interested in this scam". When i laughed and called him out on it he became very irate accusing me of wasting his time and belittling his profession even though I was asking him to repeat what he said. It sounded like he had a few layers of fake proof set up online though. It might've fooled me if i hadn't googled it beforehand.

had a call pre-recorded call from this number claiming someone was trying to carry out a transaction for £900 from my Visa Debit Card (not specific about which one) and asking to confirm if it was me. Seems dodgy.
