Automated call from “my internet service provider” stating that illegal activity has been detected on my account and my service would be disconnected within 24-48 hours….Then gave me a load of options…press 1, press 2…etc presumably to get me to speak to someone so that they could access money in some form or other. Dodgy. Automated voice saying there had been fraudulent activity using my national insurance number. I put the phone down!
Got called this morning by this number and hung up. They phoned back 5 times with a long string of threatening aggressive expletives. Then left a string of expletive ridden abusive messages on my answer phone. Asian sounding voice. Just annoyed by the fact I could "meet" this guy face to face

SCAM silent phone call which is persistent. Make sure your internet connection is switched off before answering then continually press your cut off button to get them of the line. Double check that they have hung up or they may try and connect to your internet without you knowing.

Caller claiming to be from Microsoft Yahoo wanted to check something relating to my Yahoo Local business listing that required I was at a computer. I m out of the office so they said they would call back later. Sounds like a scam.

Was called by this number early in the morning with an automated message regarding an Amazon Prime subscription I had not renewed and was going to be charged £95 because of this oversight. I could press one number to speak to an adviser and another to contest it. I did neither as it was clearly a scam. Interesting that this was a landline - it makes me wonder if they forgot to press 'number withheld'. Would think this could be investigated

This number comes from a scammer with an Indian accent calling from outside Blackburn. He claims someone is hacking into your internet provider and wants your details to sort out the problem. He is persistent and throughout lockdown has claimed to be ringing on behalf of Amazon, BT, Virgin, credit card companies. Don’t give him any information. He is so stupid he thinks I don’t recognise his voice when he calls every two or three weeks.
