Yes, they are still operating and looks like they are having a New Year hunt for more people to con, as several friends have had calls from them over the past few days. I take great delight in stringing them along for as long as possible, listening to them get more and more frustrated as I keep asking questions about their blocking box . 0171 was an old London code, along with 0181. They were replaced by 020 in year 2000.

It's a claim management company trying to bully you into claiming compensation. Despite being told to piss off they keep ringing back.

Had many calls from this number. They sell life insurance and stuff. I have already a personal insurance so I ask them to cancel my number.

They just say Just wasted your time and are laughing very weird

This number has called me on 3 occasions - I answered the first call and told them i did not have anything to claim back for and to remove me from their database. 2 further calls have not been answered. It s another PPI scam centre but these guys are quite aggressive.
