I had several calls from the company Web Security Experts with regards to renewing computer security, saying that 4 years ago I paid a membership fee, which I have no knowledge of knowing. They have threatened to take money from bank account. I searched from email and other correspondence from them but cannot find nothing. Rang my elderly mother telling her her bank account had money taken from it, luckily my mother is on high alert with this kind of calls.
I just had a call from them & never picked it up. Assuming from all the comments on here, it sounds like it is Vodafone trying to get hold of the owner of all new phones to either check the service is ok or to check something else. Called every day now from a number beginning 0208 xxxxxx. This number 0208 275 4022 today. So many scam calls now I let every call go to the answerphone and just use the mobile, this is so persistent that I called back from mobile. There was no connection, tried the other niumbers beginning 0208 received in the last 7 days - BT recording saying numbers unrecognised, Have no idea if this is a scammer or genuine - but if its genuine they are doing a poor job as you cant call back.

Warranty Direct- endless phone calls at all hours including well into the evening. Ringing them back leads to endless auto prompts- none of which offer Don t phone any more - its all about sales. So never use the on line quotation form- prices grossly excessive and they won t give up harassing you once they have your number. They always cut off as soon as they hear an answer phone.
SCAM Aggressive man called - had wrong name and said I had a warranty on my washing machine that was about to run out. When I politely explained I wasn't the person and we didn't have a warranty he was abusive. This is a scam. Block them.

SCAM or fraud. I reported this company to Action Fraud today - BAM Drainage Ltd. Company was set up in March 2020 and somehow managed to get a payment from my mother soon after. Ally my research points to preying on the elderly and vulnerable here. I have not been able to get through to the number on their website to discuss.
