Definite scam. I looked up Starpro - Aberdeen. They call off different numbers all based in Aberdeen and there's loads of people stating that they were scam artists trying to claim to be a phone company and asking for details.
SCAM used to work for this company we were essentially paid to call elderly customers and lie to them that we were Dyson and miele and they had to pay for mandatory vacuum servicing etc, they would push us to sell to those with dementia because they could charge more and service more frequently awful company.
SCAM A bunch of neglected, discarded and shameless creatures, who are a black spot on humanity. Hell bent to trouble members of public by repeated calls.
SCAM/FRAUD It sent me a text message "Hey dad, my new number can you text me on whatsapp using this number +447925258173" My daughter, who just happens to be abroad at present, knows nothing about it. I rang her using FB messenger to check.

Recorded message reporting unusual activity on my credit card. One transaction from Amazon and a foreign transaction for 999 pounds. Press 1 to authorise payment or 2 to speak to an advisor Strongly suspect this is a scam. As it was a local number I tried to call it back later and got unobtainable signal. Beware.
Already blocked this number today and still they get through. Why is nothing done about these harassing people. They are a nuisance.

Supposedly from a Medical Alert company saying I may be eligible for a medicalert bracelet. He claimed they were based in Dorset and supplied all over the UK. When asked who he wanted to speak to he wasn't very forthcoming. After me asked a second time who he wanted to speak to, he hung up.

Called today @ 13:05 hrs. I have a call blocker on my landline set to 'announce'. This seems to work for all of these low life scammers. They do not introduce themselves to be put through. Telephone does not even ring. My suggestion is to get 'Call Guardian'

Text received from this number advising that I had had a missed delivery from Royal Mail. The website to click for re-delivery was incorrect to the one used by Royal mail and had RoyalMail.Re-delivery.com and not Royalmail.re-schedule.com. The number = 01709889223, this number phoned me today (at 13:08 on 1st March 2022) and the caller stated they were from BT OUTBOUND ringing about my telephone. They were indian, male and middle aged, they identified themselves as John Martin. I am ex-directory and my phone is registered with the telephone preference service to block sales calls and unwanted calls. I checked online and the number was listed as Indian and Rotherham based.
