Genuine call regarding my insurance renewal

SCAM / SPAM Scam call claiming to be calling from Sky, telling me to switch my computer on as there is a problem with my internet. Told her I'm not a Sky customer and my internet is working fine, then I hung up. Obviously a scam to try and access people's devices and details for nefarious purposes.

Calling reportedly as Virgin, offered no confirmation of any account details. All they could say is that the call was being reported and I had problems with my router. 1st of two calls hung up on me. 2nd couldn't answer simple confirmation question.

Just called my mobile. I didn t answer but checked the number online 01225 282329 to see who they were. Found this website and comments. Called them from a landline, immediately explained to person who answered that I d received a missed call, that I d checked them up online and didn t want any further calls, and to remove my mobile number from their calling list. The man who answered was responsive immediately, polite and asked for my mobile number. Fingers crossed ....

I doubt that very much, also pet peeve but called me by my first name which suggests they have more information than I would care to give.I had to stop his spiel to ask him to remove my information which he couldn t do so I ve hung up. Fraud SCAM The caller claimed to be from mobile phone promotion department offering a discount. I established that the caller was a fraud and called them out at which point they stopped being polite and friendly and began to taunt and be abusive. This call has been reported to the UK National Cyber Security Centre.

Nach der Kontaktaufnahme in Whats-App schrieb die Person, dass er jetzt eine neue Telefonnummer hat, aber nicht mit mir sprechen kann. Weil es noch Probleme mit der alten SIM-Karte gibt und diese nicht vom neuen Handy gelesen werden kann. Die Person, angeblich mein Sohn, bittet um eine Geldüberweisung, weil er eine Zahlung verpasst hat. Das Geld (1989,09 ohne Währung) sollte ich am nächsten Tag zurückbekommen. Ein Fake!!!
