Fraud Automated system that tells you your card has been used and to cancel it press a number to speak to someone. always inform your card's fraud dept when you get one of these calls, give them the details of the call including the phone number and the date/time of the call along with the number that you were contacted from so they can get it investigated.

Foreign sounding pre-recorded message about a substantial VISA debitcard transaction. Obvious scam - messages from banks, etc do not usually start "Dear Customer". Use of an apparently local number is clearly an attempt to give it some credibility.

SCAM - scam baiters who bought Sky number ranges and are cold calling victims trying to claim to be the ISP. Tosser kept calling me "bro". I first asked him to confirm my IP address (dynamically allocated) and he gave me something he made up - that didn't have all 4 sets of numbers. Sky have been asked about this and aware of these scammers.

Rec'd a scam text from apple pay about needing to accept updated T&C. Apple do not communicate via text, the text had a clickable link, and I don't have apple pay anyway, so the scammer was never going to fool me!

Silent call. I live in Spain and I know nobody in the UK, but someone is calling me repeatedly from this number and when I answer, they hang up. This has all the hallmarks of a scam where. I'm sure that, if you call back, they charge you a large amount of money.

Called our company number purporting to be EDF energy, wanting to know our energy suppliers and contract terms. Advised not interested, but the man kept pressing for details in an unprofessional manner. Disconnected call but they called back and then hung up on my colleague.

Cold call received mid-morning. Disrespectful, pushy and unprofessional. No contact from this local business ever before, yet rang using over-familiar approach and demanding to talk about IT and security contracts. No evidence of who they were, except their say so. SCAM Said from Vodafone upgrade team and could offer me a great deal on a upgrade. Asked them to email me the details so I could check it over. Email looked dodgy, address wasn't a Vodafone one. Forwarded onto Vodafone and they said not a genuine email from them. Called me back again and got angry when I challenged them on what Vodafone said. Told me I'd get another email to prove they were genuine within 30mins, still waiting a few hours later. Four calls today alone, all from different numbers!
