2 calls in a few minutes scam you tell BT but the call ers just generate new numbers it is disgraceful
Caller identified himself as energy savings company in Great Yarmouth, and asked if I was home owner. I told him I d had a call from them a week ago and had said I wasn t interested in solar panels. He then tried to interest me in energy savings from govt scheme for new efficient boilers. Repeatedly offered me a free evaluation which I declined, then he hung up (politely) when he saw he wasn t persuading me.

another annoying call from number I don t recognise, so I don t answer. I get at least 3 calls per day from numbers I don t know. I have a way of blocking these calls, ( which I have had to pay for)but as soon as I do that, another one pops up. I would be very happy to know that "somebody" out there is working to deal with this.I know from reading comments and talking to friends that just about everyone is affected, and that I m not the only person to be maddened by these calls.
SCAM / SPAM Automated call from "HMRC" that I was being investigated about tax fraud and that, if I didn't speak to an adviser, a warrant would be issued for my arrest.
SCAM Caller said they were from Amazon and that I would have a high payment charged monthly (£79.99) unless cancelled and the caller was going to "help me" cancel my Amazon Prime subscription. After some arguing (as she tried to get me to stay on the line), I hung up and checked Amazon website going through their online chatbot. Scam call, allegedly from my (unnamed) Internet Service Provider. Apparently, my internet service is going to be suspended, due to "illegal activities".
Fraud: Pretending to be talk-talk again to 'help me' with my internet. I pushed them to verify who they were and telling me just one digit from my account number
Called by a trained chimp who could only loosely be defined as English speaking. Fool wanted to convice me that the call was from microsoft technical support. Advised them to go back to their own country where no one has a computer and where they might have more luck.

Calling reportedly as Virgin, offered no confirmation of any account details. All they could say is that the call was being reported and I had problems with my router. 1st of two calls hung up on me. 2nd couldn't answer simple confirmation question.
