Called our company number purporting to be EDF energy, wanting to know our energy suppliers and contract terms. Advised not interested, but the man kept pressing for details in an unprofessional manner. Disconnected call but they called back and then hung up on my colleague.

SCAM Indian caller with poor English said they were from a company called Reclaim and a claim that I had made had been successful and they had £300 and something money ready to pay me. I told them I had no such claim and they had the wrong number and I hung up.

The number = 01709889223, this number phoned me today (at 13:08 on 1st March 2022) and the caller stated they were from BT OUTBOUND ringing about my telephone. They were indian, male and middle aged, they identified themselves as John Martin. I am ex-directory and my phone is registered with the telephone preference service to block sales calls and unwanted calls. I checked online and the number was listed as Indian and Rotherham based. Foreigh accent, claimed that an investment I had made (I haven't!) in a company (that I've never heard of) has made profit and he can help get me the money. Told him this was obviously a scam so he said "Why you think so?". I told him because I'm not an idiot and he obviously is to think I'd fall for it, then hung up. Blocked.

SCAM- 0128 240981 I've been bombarded by calls from similar 0128 numbers for past couple weeks. I finally answered this one today (28th October) and it was a lady with an oversees accent with echoey background noise saying she was from the National Debtline. She knew my name and kept asking me to confirm it but I didn't and I kept asking who she was then hung up when she said she was from the debtline. They don't cold call you and it's a totally different number so I blocked it.

An automated female voice, purporting to be from Amazon, said I had ordered an iPhone and should press 2 if I wanted to talk to someone.

Claimed to be from Openreach saying my IP address was now public blah blah blah. so i hung up!

Beware of possible malicious of Fraudsters trying to call you. I answered this call on my phone but no one replied on the other end when i said Hello. 01560 485445 This number has now been permanently blocked on my phone. Don't answer unless you know for definite who is calling you. Just my advice.

Number called me on my work mobile which is not connected to any of my personal bank accounts claiming a £900 debit was due to go through on my Visa Debit Card. Advised if I did not make the payment to press 1 to get it cancelled as a possible fraud. After pressing one international old tone kicks in and accented woman answers 'hello' No way is this anything to do with banking or fraudulent payments. Be careful.

SCAM Call doesn't name your bank but says that transactions have been made on your account and want to divert the call to the 'customer service'. BE AWARE!
