Received a text claiming to be from Royal mail about an undelivered item. pay £1.45 for redelivery. Obviously a scam!

Gentleman with a northern accent claiming to be our towns child safety officer Telling us how we'd signed up to a child safety booklet to go to our local schools. As he couldn't pronounce the names of the schools correctly that didn't really help his cause Told him we'd never spoken before to which he quickly replied "ah right ok leave it with me" and then promptly hung up

Received this call today. It came approximately 30 minutes after a call from a Cambridge number 01223 931995. The Cambridge number went dead on answering. The 01330 563426 number allowed me to answer, and an automated message said it was the HMRC and that I would be fined. You could press 1 to talk to an agent. I hung up. You cannot ring back. This number continually calls claiming to be Scottish Power, who want payment for a final bill. Every call quotes a different figure due. At no point can they tell you the address to which this scam is referring to, but the do try to get you to confirm your address to them. The become agitated and aggressive once they realise that you know it is a scam.
