First time I have received a call from this number. Rang a couple of times then rang off.
Left long message on answering mach. Serious law suit against me unless I rang. Robotic voice, Americanized pronunciation & legal phrases. Did not specify name of myself or partner. Again Jennifer Coleman from HMRC. They would write to named person, cause of action letter, would never leave message as don t know who would pick up. Could scare people into ringing them back. SCAM Phoned my elderly neighbour offering a free red emergency panic button . Knew her personal details eg. Age and address and then went on to ask for her card details to secure delivery. Pleasant well spoken lady with Far Eastern voice. When I interjected the call she professed she couldn’t hear me then put the phone down. By the way my neighbour already has a n emergency button !

SCAM. Insurance claim related scam. Claiming to be on behalf of Aviva. Rang from a similar number that I had blocked previously. Rang on Christmas Day on a special number that I have that noone knows about outside a small circle of family members (hence my answering thinking it was a Scottish family member - Glasgow number), so they must be getting number to call from EE direct as they asked for me by name. Worrying.

Got several calls from this number today and yesterday - a new one not listed on this or any other phone spam-buster sites I checked. In the end, curiosity got the better of me just in case it was genuine and I phoned it from my Skype account. It didn t connect - but it did take ?2 (yes TWO POUNDS) off my Skype credit.

I’ve experienced a very odd phone call this afternoon. Automated phone call as soon as I said “hello” the automated phone call started. “Your name has been used in a fraud claim, from the HMRC. Press 1 to speak to someone..” - I put the phone down. My phone didn’t let me ring or receive phone calls for around 3-4minutes after. The mobile phone number used 07719 494435
