Rings and hangs up before answered, it’s a premium number, and like many of these 0843 numbers it will turn out to be a scam of some sort.
INTERNET SCAM This number from Switzerland called saying that they would cut off my internet if I didn't respond to their technical executive! 4th call today with this internet story. I will, again, block this number but it's getting ridiculous now on my landline, I should let the answerphone switch on before I answer further calls.
This number keeps calling my work line but when answered nothing is said. Has called my work line 10 times in an hour.

Automated voice saying that I would be arrested for fraudulent activity to do with my national insurance number. They wanted me to press 1 to speak to an officer - I chose not to because I was concerned I would get charged. When the message ended, the call ended. Definitely Fraud/SCAM.

Utility provider that supposedly specialises in smart meters.... missed numerous calls from them for around two weeks. Answered today offering information on switching, when I declined and asked for my number to be removed from their database they decided to argue with me about why I did not want to switch.
