Said they were ringing back about "the windows and door promotion that they are currently running in my area." Told the caller I had no knowledge if this and they immediately cut the call off. Probably a scam.

Was from an Indian Call Centre (you could tell from the background noise) asking about a car accident I had during the last 2 years (I have not had one) so I challenged him as to where he got my number from he hung up.
Didn't know what it was but after reading this I think it might be PPI

SCAM - Told them to take a number off the list as the person has a memory dissorder. Have called daily after that, telling it is the first time they call. Different numbers, but same person called back right after from this number. She called from RCN Investments and if that is true, that she called because the person wrote her number at THEIR webpage- then they have sold the number to several other companies, because the phone is calling several times a day after the day she register on a web-page.
They said call was to update my cover for my central heating boiler, which was £20 month and they were reducing it to £16 a month, yeah right!

Random pre-recorded phone call from BT services, asking me to select a number associated with BT - Canceling and disconnecting phone and internet services. I have no idea what this was about, I stopped the call and have reported it as a scam.

These people ring every day. They ask for someone who doesn t live here. When I became annoyed with this, they obviously made a note somewhere and now ask for the person who is in charge of the phone bill. Very very annoying and won t stop talking even when you say you don t want to talk to them, so you have to just put the phone down while they are talking.
