SCAM - Apparently they were from Sky trying to test my broadband speed. Notwithstanding I am not with Sky, I asked them to tell me my own name and postcode and they hung up. How rude! I assume the next step would be to access my computer to 'fix' the issue.

SCAM It says it’s from Royal Mail, and that you need to pay for a delivery. There is a link to pay to but don’t . Definitely a scam and are probably after your credit card details. The Link is. HTTPS://safe-help-hub.com It came as a text and I have reported it to 7726 which is the UK reporting of unwanted texts number.
This is a genuine number from santander fraud team. I was suspicious of the number so I rang it and explained I felt it was a scam and the advisor told me to ring the number on the back of my card which I did. And the fraud team confirmed that the text message was genuine and was from santander.
Sales call or scam? Supposedly a restaurant but 'James' said he was from Vodafone and was offering me some kind of deal on a new iphone. Call centre noise in background and he had such a strong accent I couldn't really understand him.

This is a new, and weird, one for me. Called my landline but disconnected when I picked up (now they know this is a live number,,,damn!!). No message left so I'll never know if I have been left millions of pounds from an unknown benefactor who needs me to handle his money, for a small fee, to help them evade paying local taxes or being claimed by a fictional Government department.

He called me on 26/02/2023 from 17.00 on wards every 20 minutes or so till 20.00 hours i disconnected the. then around 15.00 hours he started calling again silent all the time this went on for 10 calls the i did not pick so blocked my land line by leaving phone off hook. This Asian sounding guy called saying he was from a company called Today's Living, apparently a survey and marketing company he said. He called before 9am. He tried to be persistent and ask me questions but he ended the call when he knew he wasn't getting anywhere with me It is very annoying to be awoken by an unsolicited call in the morning.
