Called my elderly grandad just now (isn?t the first time). He couldn?t understand him so passed the phone to me. An Indian man calling from ?Remote Security? and enquiring about a ?computer or laptop in your house? I told him we didn?t have either and he carried on trying to talk, so I repeated that we didn?t have either and to not call again and he hung up. Scammer/Junk: Said he was from EE and said they had a 35% discount, which is odd because I had just upgraded with EE. Then asked me how much I paid on my last bill, to which I said 'well if you are EE you should know' - Upon which he got sheepish and hung up. Caller ID says it is from Bodmin. This is not someone from EE yet are touting themselves as if they are, as such this is fraud.

Caller claimed I had been in an accident - when I told her I ve never been in one in my life she went on to ask details of the accident had to hang up.

I received an automated call...the usual thing: press 5 if you re interested, 9 to unsubscribe from our database. For a change, I pressed 5 because I wanted to find out how I got ON their database in the first place. They rang off, but someone from "YouCall" left a message for me later saying that they would deal with my query if I rang back on 01902 440156.
HMRC scam. Says a letter was returned and legal action is imminent.
