Got a text claiming to be Santander saying it had my one time passcode for a large payment. If this payment wasn’t me to ring this number. I do not bank with Santander. It’s a scam. Did not attempt to ring the number.

Tell them you want to buy something, put the phone on a table and get on with your day, washing dishes, reading the paper, listening to the radio, say something every now and again to keep them there, waste their time, waste their money, keep em hangin on. They ll soon go away, no company can afford to have people making calls and no sales.

Person called Jack Wells called my elderly parents and tried to sell them a plug in box to stop unwanted phone calls. He had the correct details for them and their address! He asked for all bank details, sort code, acc. number and a password. Luckily they are not that stupid!!

My husband has unfortunately been duped by this company - Clearview partnership. Started with hard sale on Carbon emmisions and he unfortunately has since gone on to invest large sums of money in gems and oil. Portfolio of investment was supposed to go to auction Dec 13. Is bothered by tel nr 088-7751018. Looks like a young man with a Moroccan dialect and is said to be from KPN/Internet/Telephone provider with a new good offer - is quite aggressive and says you "have to" eavesdrop on a tape. KPN says that this person cannot be from KPN and labels this person as a fraudster / phishing. Advice: Do not call back and do not answer. You can number put in contacts of telephone with: "Fraudster, DO NOT PICK UP"!
