Called me claiming to be from Sky, informing me that malicious individuals are trying to hack my router. I played dumb and allowed them to get to the part where they wanted me to install TeamViewer to gain access to my computer. I gave them an earful about preying on vulnerable people, but it will have had zero effect; I just hope I cost them more money in call charges than they were expecting.

Claimed to be from reputable finance institution with loud dance music playing in the background, wanted to make sure I got back money I had invested, some nonsense about block-chain, called him out as a fraud and he said the music was because it was Friday afternoon! Utter BS! Looks a genuine mobile number but when answered it sounded like an automated voice telling me problems with HM C & E, knowing that they would never phone direct so just put the phone down, Guessing it will be some kind of scam to get details from you.

SCAM: recording of booming voice saying "this is the national crime agency...cancelling your national insurance number". I hung up.
