The Indian caller I could not understand the mentioned very quickly a company name that was illegible and they made up a reason for me to call them back so they could discuss, I’m guessing this is when they try and either scam you or sell you something you don’t need

Got a busy day tomorrow thought I might have an early
SCAM This is a call centre saying it is a courtesy call due to an appliances warrantee expiring, on this instance it was a washing machine, so quite believable. They wanted £65 per year for another 3 years full cover. It sounded very genuine until she said that she wanted me to tell her the name and make of my appliance and i said that i was ok and didn't want to renew the warrantee as i'd had it for over 5 years, then they just hung up and the line went dead. SCAM Got this text saying it was from llyods and that I paired a device. Said to click a link if it was not me. I didn't pair any device and I have NEVER had a llyods account. A google search does come back with the number linking it to India and I have been getting some calls from India in the last month or so. Obviously I never answer these calls.

Unpleasant man by the name of Russell called from Weathershield -said calling from Ludlow. I asked why calling when our number is registered with the TPS. He said they don t have to check, TPS are supposed to do it for them! I asked for our number to be removed from their database. He became most aggressive and unpleasant saying that he would keep the number on the system and call me every day. When I rang the number back a very faint answer message announced it was Weatherproof UK Ltd.
