This number rang me cold selling when I said “no I’m ok thanks” she said “ what do you mean your ok, you weirdo” so rude !

Irrelevant whether you give your number out, as these people just use auto diallers, which take no account of ex directory, TPS etc status.

17 Feb 2021 - I have recieved a call from this number today, a couple of weeks ago i had a conversation with someone who wanted access to my property to change the meter. I contacted EON and they confirmed that was not anything wrong with the meter and they did not know why I had had that call. Reply

This number tells you to phone another number 118 which is a number that charges you to phone. Another scam

They said they were British Gas and we re looking for a reading even tho they know I ve not moved into the flat and that its only the 9th and my bill isn t due till the 23rd?

Yet again this number rang and when I answered it was terminated at their end

Called my mobile and asked for me by name. Claimed to be from Nationwide Building Society and started trying to confirm my postcode. When I asked to be told why they were calling first they hung up. I suspect this to be a scam.

never give out my number, obviously some sort of scammers or telemarketers, if you get this number don t answer it.

Informed that i had been involve d in a car accident, when i stated that this was not so she put the phone down, she had stated that she was phoning from a company but because of her acsent i did not get the name. On returning the call i am informed that it is not a recognisable number.

Scam caller pretending to be hmrc to issue warrant

Rang my mother . Knew all her details. Pretended to be British Gas and said if she paid 199.99 now she would save money. They even knew her BG home service plan was up for renewal soon. He was so polite and convincing, she gave her bank card details. Luckily Nationwide have done a visa dispute and refunded her. We have phoned trading standards, British gas . Written a cancellation letter to so called company. This needs to go to Watchdog.

This number calls me 3 times a week, keep asking them to stop but different person every time and still don't have my correct details!!

They said call was to update my cover for my central heating boiler, which was £20 month and they were reducing it to £16 a month, yeah right!
