They then managed to trigger the Amazon reset password text message and pressured me to give me that code to them, presumably so that they could take control of my Amazon account. You re right not to call back. Why would they need you to "leave your number" when they must already have it if they ve called you twice? Very odd.

This number called me yesterday, and several times today. I picked up the most recent call and a girl laughed down the phone and hung up. No attempt to sell me anything or talk about pensions, as other comments have said, just straightforward nuisance call. Have now blocked them.

Automated voice saying it's regarding a transaction on my Amazon account, order for over 1k using the card that has been used recently. It was asking me to press 1 if it is me placing the order or 2 if it's not. Obviously I hang up. Clearly a scam.
