SCAM 01772 (Preston Area) 791710 called at 11.15am, recorded message saying "card provider alerting unusual payments to Amazon & Universal Credit Transfer, Press 1 to accept / 2 to decline" But didn't say which card provider and didn't say how much the transactions were. Hung up and rung number back to get message "you have dialled a incorrect number". 99% certain this is a scam. None of my cards have this area code for card enquiries .
Just called me , hung up before I could say anything ...... The rein I didn't speak was because I didn't recognise the number ...... Not enough digits in the number to...

Yet another call about an injury resulting from an accident and my insurance claim. (1) I have not had an accident, therefore (2) I have not suffered an injury and (3)I have not, and do not want to, make an insurance claim! Two calls in the space of an hour.

**SCAM** Same as last review - called from 'Vodafone' & said someone had changed my phone number. Recieved text with code during the call. I asked him to call me back in 30 mins, he said "why, are you busy"? He couldn't verify he was from Vodafone and said they'd send an email (not recieved an hour later..). Checked my Vodafone account and no activity. TBH I'm used to being ripped off by Vodafone but at least I can see it happening :)
Sneaky rats (Call centre) Liverpool based call center rerooting thier calls through the internet making it look as though somebody local is calling you the number is listed as bewdley which is local. I rang the number didn t catch thier name I asked if they were a cold call center she said yes and I could here in the back ground they were.the woman tried to justify why they were rerooting calls.
This number calls my mobile at least twice daily, automated dialer as it calls twice in quick succession while getting blocked by my call blocker!

On 15-02-2023 I was called, on my mobile by this (London) land line number. 020 45689768. When I replied the call got cut…. Called the number back and was connected to a voice message… Did not get the name of caller, so I called again…., but the same happened and the name pronounced was not clear to me…. It then offers 2 options to press a 2 or a 9 (the last one to ask them not to phone again…..) Obviously I did no such thing, as I “smelled a rat” . . . . . Simply blocked the number in my phone
