"Ed" from 0203 769 3402 just called about "the Government Home insulation scheme I have just had installed", except I havent!!! SCAM! Then he just hung up!

Just had a call from this number. Someone saying something so fast I couldn't understand it. Don't want to ring back as may be a con. Don't recognise number.

Like others used Anglian in the past. They call every month from different numbers even when you tell them you don?t want anything. They came round last week because ?they were in the area?. Very annoying. They sound desperate and for that I?m sad.

Clear English accent. Told me that I had been spying on his wife and taking pictures of her and that he variuosly intended to fill me in and report me to the police. I have a feeling that it was an automated voice response system as I stopped speaking a couple of times and after a pause the voice came back witht he same phrase trying to find out if I was still there.

Called on mobile from this number, tried calling back to find that all lines are busy ! No idea who it is or purpose of call.

I did buy an engine back in 2013 from enginestoyou who did deliver an engine but it was the wrong one. After i informed them they came and collected it but failed to refund me or send me a replacement engine. I chased them through email and phone but they would simply ignore everything. I did contact my bank and various other bodies but no success. They were no where to be found. It angers me how they have managed to rip people off and get away with it so easily. Recorded message saying it's HMRC telling that you have been named in a tax fraud case and if you don't press 1 immediately you will be arrested. Hang up, block the number and wait a very long time for someone to come and feel your collar. Pathetic examples of humanity operating these scams.
