Fraud SCAM Cold call. Indian voice asks you to give long card number as some payment at some time "did not go through". I remember no such occasion with an Indian agent, and if this does happen with any other, they immediately check and enter the card number again and it does go through. I said I can't just give my card number to an unknown caller for an unknown transaction, and the agent said he would get their lawyers to deal with me. I have blocked the number.

I got a WhatsApp's message from this number, the person was pretending to be my son. The message said Hi mum this is my new number, my phone broke you can save it. I replyed but got suspicious because the reply to my message was not how my son would reply. I tried ringing the number 3 times but nobody answered. I rang my sons number and sure enough he hadn't changed his number at all. This scammer I have no doubt would have been asking me to transfer money into his account. BEWARE !!!!!
Said he was from O2 offering discounts or additional services for being a loyal customer, seemed polite enough, not incredibly pushy, had my name as well as seemingly some idea of my data usage. Indian man who claimed to be from EE then claimed to be calling on behalf of all major mobile carriers and listed Virgin, O2, Vodaphone etc, demanded repeatedly my phone bill. Sounded hostile and claimed to be offering a 40% discount. The sound of chatter could be heard in the background. Block this number. The British government really needs to do more to safeguard citizens from whatever fraud they had planned.

A man with a very strong Indian accent said his name was James, called from this number saying he was from 3 mobile. He said it was regarding an "upgradetion" He didn't ask me to confirm even my name, but asked how much I was paying for my monthly contract. I told him if he was really from 3, he would already have access to that information, he didn't want to talk any more, and hung up on me. Definitely a SCAM!
