Someone called Katey rang. She claimed she was calling from a company called Switch safer. She asked if my gas appliances were insured. I told her she was breaking the law by phoning me, as I was a member of TPS (telephone preference service. She said she had a filtering device that filtered out TPS members. She then asked if I had paid a £5 to TPS, because If I had not, she was within the law to phone me. TPS later told me that this was rubbish. There is no £5 charge. I had my details sold by Car Phone Warehouse, after buying phones....... told ICO hope someone does something as in their terms and conditions there is wording relating to this, but no opt in or opt out..... it s just wrong, I pay for a service, a phone and then they sell my details on.... why .... never ever have I had such texts/ calls as I do now all within a day of purchasing something from their site...
SPAM i think this is a telephone call automated voice telling you there is something wrong with your Sky Broadband. This is the second time today (by half one pm) i’ve had this,plus one yesterday morning. We were targeted by the same people, from a different number last year, which i reported to Sky along with a load of other people. That was a call centre from Asia and the were about 10 daily. As this is automated - in fact the last was just silent- i haven’t yet reported it, but i will if they continue.

This number rang my mobile phone this morning. I didn't answer as I don't answer numbers that I do not recognize. Then I ran a search and found all these notifications of it being, AS I SUSPECTED, a scam number. Needless to say, I won't be ringing them back!

Scammers.. A recording saying that your national insurance number has been compromised. I keep getting calls on my work mobile which I only ever use for work and it is in no way linked to me personally. Definitely a scam, as I have read about people getting these calls. Be wary!
