Have been getting calls from this number frequently in the last 3 weeks. Never used to answer them. Until I answered it today at 12.40 pm there was a silence for about 5 seconds then a hello Aron it was a friend of mine from Australia! What s the deal with this number and should I be concerned?

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. SCAM Caller stated they were from BT working on local Broadband speed as it had been slow and that it was being worked on to improve and apologise for any disruption we have had. They had also worked on a new "security patch" and asked me to download on one of my connected devices. On telling him I coulent do that he just cut me off. Very believable for an older person.
