IT'S A DANGEROUS SCAM! A computer is dialling numbers in sequence to sniff out voice lines. If you speak then the line is detected as 'an active voice line' and logged as such, a scammer will then be calling you later! If you don't recognize the number calling DON'T SPEAK, JUST LISTEN! If you don't hear a voice and then the line goes dead then congratulations - you have just successfully escaped being scammed! THESE CALLS ARE HARASSING AND ALWAYS POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS!

Seems to be a PPI claim company by the name of HA Advisory - the person spoke with a Northern accent (maybe Manchester, Leeds etc)

He then stated my postcode, which was correct, and said he would send some information in the post. Most likely a National Insurance Phishing Scam. Reported to HMRC. NI would not have rang from a Vodafone mobile number.
Say's it is due to unpaid taxes or delaying income tax due to covid -TAXES / HMRC. I believe it is a scam.

Called from a noisy call centre. Introduced themselves from black pearl claims. Company registered in leeds kept them on the line the wanted to know my address DOB and if i had any loans.

Keep calling even tho I didn t answer, when the son accidently answered cos I wasn t near the phone he told me who thery were. It is no use you asking/telling them to remove your number because they don t. I actually changed my number for this reason, and guess what? today they tried ringing my new number. It is now set to block and no matter what you tell them they just keep trying.
