Fraud/SCAM Pretends to be Revolut, they knew my name, home address and email address used with Revolut. Claimed my card ending NNNN was added to new device, tried to get more information. When I asked how do I know they are Revolut, they said I can check number at the back of the card. Wanted to confirm my last transaction - if I shared information they would be able to possibly attempt access recovery on my account. The caller number can be easily spoofed. I think this is a scam call pretending to be 02. They send you a code via text and then ask for the code to be able to access your account online. The security says to no give the code to 02 staff, soo if they are real why are they asking for the code to apply supposed discount!!!

An urgent verbal message on a loop advising me that Trojan software had been active on my system and that I should not switch off and should phone this number which I did - they said they were Microsoft (a residential number!?) The person wanted me to hold down the Windows and 'R' keys so that he could correct the problem. I asked him if that enabled him to take control of my machine and he then put the phone down. This number is used to scam people out if money on Whats App. It will pretend to be a family member and ask you to talk on What’s App only and then ask to lend money for Christmas presents because they have been locked out of their banking app. Always ask for information that will verify that you are actually talking to your family member or they will play a clever game and scam you out if your cash. They tried to get £940 off me!! This has been reported to What’s App.

This number phoned me at 16.31 this afternoon. It sounded as if there was an office or similar room with people talking.
