I received a call from Chase Alexander from telephone number 07509701173. The guy had a Liverpool accent and stated I had had a road traffic road which is incorrect. They rang me a couple of times today. I could also hear laughing in the background, not professional and a very bad line. It s clearly a scam.

Caller claimed to be from “…mumbled words… breakdown service” and announced that “this call is about your renewal payment”. For the service I didn’t know I had.
I received a call from this number just now. He said he was from a company called Technical Help Service and told me my computer had a virus. He tried to convince me using various methods including running the eventvwr (the errors listed there are not related to viruses!) This is identical to the well known Windows Technical Helpdesk scam. Very rude and persistent caller, they call themselves Green Shield. I have reported them to TPS. I will wait to see if that does any good.
I was called by this number at 1.30pm, there is silence then they hang up.
The guy just went straight into a script, no explanation of why he was calling or what the company were about. I put the phone down, "Grants" and Windows were mentioned.
