Indian person saying they’re from [indistinguishable] asking how I was, I said I was fine thanks and asked how they were. They proceeded to say they have a deal with Vodafone and blah blah blah. I couldn’t be bothered to play along so I said no thank you and hung up.

Such lazy scammers - they use the same numbers each time. Basically if you receive a call from a Bolton code eg 01204 and you don;t live in Bolton or know someone who lives in Bolton, just ignore and block. It will just be these lazy evil scammers. Sometimes they claim to be TalkTalk, another time they claim to be 'National Debt Resolution'. They are totally useless - they are even rude the moment you answer, and can't even manage to sound even briefly plausible or professional. Evil fools - the worst.

A company calling themselves "Housing Disrepair Management" falsely claiming I reported a problem to a housing association and trying to get details from me, despite the fact that they couldn't tell me my name or where I lived. They hung up when I repeatedly asked for more details about how they got my number.

SCAM Automated message said it was Inland Revenue and that I hadn't paid my taxes. To avoid a court date and possible jail time press 1 to speak to an agent. A trace says the number originates in Russia. No chance I believe any of that rubbish.

Phone was off but had a missed call from this number and HUGE reported on line concerns from people about it. It worryingly coincides with DAILY Phishing e mails for past 3/4 months reported to report@phishing/ICO and Microsoft. SCAM Didn't get a call from this number but it is shown on a small value (£0.94) package received in the post this morning where the addressee is not known at this address. Spoke to the Company which was quoted on the package as sender - One World Economy - and they have confirmed that they are a forwarding company for E-bay and were asked to send this on behalf of a Chinese company. Seem soo be a brushing scam as another package also received this morning from a different sender egis time value £0.08.

I got 2 short calls and before I could pick up they stopped. I don't know this number or anyone I know personally who would have this number.
Missed call - I have had 3 calls in one day - all from Northern Island but all different numbers: 02893535035 and 02894106936 and 02877079126. I don't know anyone from this area and they have not left a message. I have never had calls from this area previously, let alone 3 on the same day.
