Some guy said he was a windows technician and i had been hacked according to their data base. he said go on your pc hit ther windows key and r then type cmd then he blerted out the number at the bottom to try to reassure me he was a good guy. Yes I too received a call...poor English accent telling me she was calling from 'the tec department regarding my computer'. I ceased the call.

SCAM ....I got a text at 10.30pm allegedly from Gov.uk saying I was due a tax refund and to fill in my details and then see if I was really due a tax refund. I called the number back and it rang out for a while and went onto voicemail GIFFGAFF VOICEMAIL! I left a message asking when the government started using Giffgaff and not to contact me again as I would be calling the police. It is under the guise of HMRC ALERT. On checking the number here it comes up as Manchester and O2 network
