Asked if we had a gas boiler & was it over 7 years old. I got them to confirm that we had not asked to be contacted, said that we were TPS registered and that they were breaking the law. Was told that they would remove our number from their list (of course, they should have checked before disturbing us.)

Got an unsolicited call from this number. Did not pick up the phone but dialled 1471 to find out the number that had called me. Turned out to be Solution Marketing of Nottingham so I have complained to the TPS with whom my landline is registered.

I have had at least 5 calls from this number in 2 days with reference to a tax refund I am supposed to pick up from the post office ...... Foreign sounding caller who knew my name claims to be calling from London. I gave up at that point.

Often recieve calls claiming to be from Royal Sun Alliance. RSA are MOTABILITY insurer and we are being targetted for a very minor incident while our MOTABILITY car was stationary/parked/empty off road!Unwelcome, uninvited, disconcerting as related calls can be aggressive. This number phoned at 3.46am in morning and woke us up. No-one there when we answered, then line engaged when we phoned back to find out what was so urgent as to phone in middle...

Telemarketers, usual nonsense, I suggest you just cut the call if answered by mistake, block them on the mobile or landline handset if you are able, if you do talk to them then of course ask for your details to be removed etc... Do not behave like the quarter wit above, screaming and shouting at them, it just makes you look like a complete and utter fool and an idiot and in truth there is no reason to behave in such a way, it acheives nothing in terms of getting you out of their database. this number,01254 470094,rang my landline at 6.45pm,which i never answer,as no-one i know has my house number.whoever it was didn,t leave a message.

Talks about a recent accident (haven t had one), asking for feedback on the service. Don t answer, even to ask them to remove your name from the database as they won t do that for you.

I have had this number a few times in the past week. I rang it back and was told to hold and was then answered by 'Anglian Home Improvements'. The area code is local...
