Caller claimed to be from BT Openreach calling about poor internet speed - sounded like an Indian call centre. I was wary but we have been having poor speed so I carried on. They asked me to do a speed test on out internet using a site I have used before. They said the speed figures were very low. They wanted me to download software so they could connect to my PC which I didn't do. When I started to challenge them to prove who they were they hung up. I suspect this is a scam call.

This Indian fella rings me every couple of weeks always calls me by a different first name usually as far as it gets but today I stopped him and told him my first name then says he s from some fraud investigation unit asked how I was I said was ok till you rang and got my name wrong his reply was so what s your fuckin name repeated it about 5 times I said who you think your talking to and he put phone down tryd ringing the number but it s dead or something
Phoned at 7.30 am and don't appreciate early calls when you have ill relatives. Not impressed. No messes must be a scam

Continuously calling until I eventually answered. Mumbled the company name so that I couldn t catch it before launching into his script. Wanted me to complete a household preference survey which they would sell on, creating more nuisance phone calls. I always refuse.

This unknown number has been calling me for days before I got the chance to finally answer. I didn t understand the man s name nor from which company he was calling, but he said something to the effect that I d get a refund for the bank charges I allegedly paid over the past few years. SCAM - Seems to be a call centre as noisy line. Tried to obtain bank details etc under false pretences, alleging an engineer from BT has detected problems on my home landline and that without rectification I could incur £+ costs but if remedial action is taken quickly charges may be reduced. I asked for their engineer and departmental details but got nowhere so advised would call BT myself and the caller rang off. One for OfCom and other authorities.
I dno what to do the banks now telling me they don't have anything they can do this company is terrable does anyone think tht could help me out I for think il ever get this...
This number is not recognised if trying to call back. Which is the sign of a scammer. They have called several times despite being told not to. They have now been reported to TPS , but I doubt anything will be done :(
