Could well be a scam. They send a link through Dropoff Services asking for name and address details and asking for £2.99 by Visa or Mastercard to deliver an unknown parcel. Warning Be aware Scam l think They have texed me 6 days in a row !
Called claiming I needed to get my solicitor to call immediately. Didn t call but searched here so did nothing. HMRC won t call on such matters
Clean Green - claim there is an energy survey going on in my road (named it and knew my house number and my name) - I said there is nothing going on in my road. Claimed it was about a change in building regulation sand checking heat loss. I said that is absolute rubbish - she claimed it was not. I suggested she gets a proper job and hung up.

The irritating Saving Preference Company have been calling me for the last month, on average, about 3/4 times a day!!! I tried ignoring their calls, then handing the phone to my son so he could wind them up and then finally gave up and answered their questions telling them a fake name and address and said NO to absolutely every question they asked including Do I have a TV, car and washing machine? . Indian voice said from Microsoft. Told him to get lost. He said that because I was uncooperative he was going to block my computer, he was full of threats. That got me really going and I told him to get on and block it (there is NO way he could). After me making more comments to him he rang off. I think this is probably a Nigerian scammer who has been able to tack himself onto an English telephone number.

I received an automated voice message claiming to be from Amazon Prime, saying that my Amazon Prime account will continue and that a sum of money would be removed from my bank account for this. I do not have an Amazon Prime account and have never had one, so I'm sure that this was a scam call. I'm afraid that I didn't listen to the full message to find out what it was asking me to do.

I had the same experience as Dani. I d cut them off as they couldn t give me any details of our BT account when they said that our internet was about to be cut off. I phoned BT and they confirmed that our internet service was ok and the call was probably a scam. I have now blocked this number
