Claim to be calling for my unnamed bank about suspicious charges from Amazon and an international money transfer. Wanted me to key in a response to speak with an “adviser”. Seems to be a scam/phishing for bank information.
Obvious scam, claiming to be from EE retaining department. If you google the number it comes up as a Noodle bar in London. The guy on the call couldn't stop stumbling over his words when I called him out on things and then laughed at me when I said I knew it was a scam.
100% scam .... keep them on waste their money .....

SCAM Said they were O2. Very convincing. Sent an OTP, like a fool, I gave it to them. By the time their call ended, and I got through to O2 (max 10 minutes), they’d already changed my email and postal addresses. O2 tell me the only time they will ask for the OTP is when a customer calls them. Looks like I stopped them in time, all details now changed, and security info changed, but be careful people. Many calls from this and similar numbers to my (unused so number never given out) landline. In the past hour I've had 6 calls, their last two digits have changed each time but the rest is the same. As soon as the answer machine kicks in they hang up.

Missed call cannot ring the number back which screams SCAM or high pressure sales call. I have been pestered recently by buy to rent mortgage type people although not from the area code (Torquay) and estate planning neither of which would be of any use to me. Says they were BT but due to a heavy Indian accent I couldn't understand what he was saying. Have had people claiming to be BT contacting me before claiming there was an issue with my computer, why BT would contact me about my computer which has nothing to do with them caused alarm bells to ring. Not sure if this was one of these calls but be wary if answer, don't let them have control of your computer for whatever reason they give.
