Emily, claiming to be IT Support, I think Microsoft was mentioned. Offering to help fix problems with my computer. I played along for a while, got bored & hung up. Rung me back, so I told her I m IT technician, and there s nothing wrong with my PC. She warned me I was wrong, and hung up.

This number dialled few moments ago: A computer generated voice said it was HMRC stating a fraud claim has been raised against me, If i don't state my name etc I will be arrested immediately. Do NOT leave your details, this is not to be trusted and most definitely IS a highly dangerous. Call claimed to be from cavity wall insulation company suggesting they are surveying houses to remove insulation where it is causing damp. They asked vague questions I.e “Are you the home owner?”. When I asked a question response didn’t match my question or make sense as a response.
Fraud Apparently I’ve got an Amazon account I didn’t know I had. Fancy that. Told the gentleman with a very thick Indian accent he was wasting his time and promptly put my phone next to the TV and turned up the volume.
