I refused to listen to their pitch, told them to remove my details from their database and to stop calling me.
Suspected SCAM / SPAM Automated male computerised voice stating something like " This is HMRC, your account has been registered as linked with a fraud, if you dont press 1 now, you risk going to prison". Dont be fooled to press 1. Remember any such correspondence from HMRC would be given via written notice to your home address first, with several warnings. NOT via one single threatening call demanding 'if you dont press 1 now you risk going to prison!'
Called said they were from British telecommunications said I would not receive any more nuisance calls. Told her I wasn't a BT customer so remove my no. 5 minutes later get call recorded voice saying from BT telling me my phone/internet were going to be cut off shortly....press 1 for? 2 for?
