No bank name was given. apparently there were two transactions going through on my card, one for Amazon and another larger sum was an international money transfer. I’ve just had a call from this number which was automated and informed me that a transaction of £900 had been spent on my Visa Credit Card and to press 1 to enquire about it. This is a scam as I don’t have a Visa Credit Card so everyone please be aware of this number .
The caller, Liam, claimed to be from Premier Rewards ... wanting to give me some money! Like, yeah!! I consider this to be a 'SPAM' call and potentially dangerous. The caller kept interrupting me - a known tactic from SPAM callers! My suggestion to anyone is to just Hang Up!
'Michael' claimed to be from Microsoft and wanted to know if I was the main user of my computer. Although a Leeds number it sounded very long distance as if was coming from India. I hung up.
