Forever calling my 11yo sons mobile, this being a new mobile contract. Clearly cold calling and continue to harrass us, idiots! From now on I answer, appearing to be my local Police Authority. I ve done this with others and they promptly hangup and I never receive a call from them again. As for the TPS, complete waste of time. I and many others had an increase of calls once added, even on a completely new line where nobody had the number as it was used as a broadband only line by us.

2 calls today - introduced themselves as TalkTalk to discuss "router servicing". Line was very poor, when I said so they hung up. Contacted TalkTalk and they confirmed it was a scam call.

SCAM automated call! This number called - I didn't answer as I didn't recognise it. My voicemail picked up part of an automated recorded message, seemed to be telling me to press 1 or my National Insurance number would be 'switched off' and I would no longer be able to use it. Received a text from Natwest, verify recent payments. Another text from 07860020323, saying SOLETRADER 98 & THE IDLE MAN CO tried to use my card at 0.33am, 0.36am and 0.39am, I had to text Y or N back, I text N then they tried to call me back. I checked on my bank s homepage for fraud, spoke to a man asking if I had heard of them, so the bank has now put a stop on my card. Thank you Natwest.

Yep, same thing happened to me. One number out of an influx of numbers calling me and hanging up - scamming Paki bastards in scam call-centres routing their calls through unused UK phone numbers to pretend that they're legitimate companies to try and fish for your personal details and use them for fraud. I wish these filthy Paki bastards would just fuck off and die!
