They use any data they can get to bug you typically to begin with by using automated dialers and recorded style messages. They do not check the age of the data or if they do they ignore it. I received a call from Nationwide Repair centre. I don't even drive so it is blatantly as nuisance cold call.

Numbers starting with 07989544___ keep calling my mobile phone. I answered once and there seemed to be an automatic hang-up.

American sounding woman called me saying she was from Nationwide Trust Bureau. She said someone at this address had a car accident in the past 2 years. (I haven t.) So i asked her what address was that. She repeated her line, do i repeated mine. She hung up.
