Said our loft insulation going mouldy . Would not give the number he was calling , hung up when questioned what company he was from.

Calls from this number received two days running. Tried returning call but unsuccessful. First call nothing heard. Second call talk of someone having an accident.

Introduced himself as from Virgin Media. Usual Indian accent which is not an issue given the number of services now operated from Mumbai. My signal was poor and call ended, either my signal or them, no details asked for thus neutral rating.

Calls repeatedly, no speech then hangs up after a few seconds. Looks like a local number, but starts with a 4 not a 6, so very suspicious.

A lot of missed calls.. claim to be an insurance company.. they arent!

This number called with message about "every house needs to be done by 2016" plus "we are in your area" last week - some solar panel scam. Didn t answer - the message is recorded on my answerphone. Same message from 01316483485 yesterday - same result. This lot have probably rented fake numbers from a major phone company which offers them on its web site. Some firms offer call centres numbers which give the person called the idea that it is a local call.

Purported to be advising that there was a tax fraud action pending against me! Total clobbers! These scammers should be behind bars.

Said I had unpaid debts - when I said I did not, he asked me if I was sure and when I said I was he hung up.

It seemed to be one of those calls about mis-selling of PPI claims but it was a person rather than an automated call. I didn't listen for long enough to find out.

I have received calls from these people every day but nobody is on the line. So I emailed them and told them to remove my ex directory number immediately as they are contravening the new Data Protection Law and one more call and I will complain and they could incur as hefty fine, if I wanted their insurance I would call them, so Google Data Protection and go on their site, There is a link where you can complain. This is harassment so let s put a stop to it.
