Claim they are from British Gas line is very bad hissing and static Could hardly hear them From what I could make out they stated they could save me money on bills But couldnt hear the rest All other calls I make to family and friends are fine and clear So I suspect the call originates outside of the UK and routes through a system in this country which explains the poor line quality

Internet They told me they were from BT and said I needed to log on to y account so they could verify who they were as they were trying to sort out my account as it had been hacked ?. not a Chance I said asked them for there contact number so I could call them back so I could confirm who they were... they out the phone down on me.

SCAMThis number called me about a £600 debit from my visa card. An man with an Indian accent asked me for my bank sort code I asked which sort code and he said the one from my visa debit card. I told him I did not have a visa debit card and asked him to explain further. He hung up. Please be aware never to give any bank details out over the phone. If someone calls you about an unauthorised transaction they should already know all of the details. It is always best to hang up and phone the bank yoursel

It was a computer generated voice telling me that my card was being used for a £700 transaction. I ended the call and checked all my cards online. No such transaction so I took it that this us a scam.

I never answer the landline (to avoid giving scammers/spammers the knowledge that my landline is a valid number). I researched the number but could not find a legitimate index entry, so I conclude it is a scam and not to be trusted at all. Potentially dangerous. SCAMMERS: it is a pre recording message saying you need to pay your subscription to amazon prime £79.99 and to press some phone keys to re activate your prime account. Amazon prime doesn’t make calls regarding subscriptions, yo do this only directly in your account. Be careful
