On some phones you can block the numbers, I have an iPhone 5s and it s very handy being able to block these pests. Iv had 30+ calls from different numbers the past few weeks too! of which I just keep blocking. Iv answers a few times and one guy was so nasty after I politely asked him to stop calling.. He was unbelievably rude and threatening!

Called to say I had been in an accident and they had received my file. Funny I ve never been in a car accident!! They hung up on me in the end as I was asking too many questions.

They phone few times a daymgiving different reasons for phoning, phoning for cancer research, then foreign legion, then sales, it tends to be the same voices trying to disguise ...

Caller asked to speak to person who wasn t in. Told to phone again after 6pm (4 hours away). Received 2 further calls from this number within 30 minutes of original call so caller obviously doesn t listen.

Enjoyed stringing him along, the man from First Response / MIB (Motor Insurance Bureau) I asked if he meant the Men In Black, as he was calling to see if my RTA had been sorted out, I asked which one he was referring to as I said I have had few LOL, he couldn t give the information he was referring to but said in the last 2.5 years. Got a call from this number claiming I had been in an accident. When I asked them where they got my number from they said it was from accident statistics. I said no that is a lie where did you really get it from they said ok then hung up
