I fell for this scam from a different number before and they try push you to pay them the money you supposedly owe them. These people are NOT Inland Revenue- They are scammers!! Noticed a missed call from this number on an old mobile I d only recently put a brand new SIM into. This phone has never been used to make calls anywhere so either Tesco Mobile have started re-issuing old numbers or the calling company are chancers.

Guy called. Said he was from WIP Knightsbridge and that we had talked over a year ago about divide office refurbishment/relocation (we hadn't). I said I was not interested and closed the call. He then rang back three more times before I blocked his number.

Phoned my Dad with the same Microsoft rubbish quoting a serial number and saying that they would disable his computer, my Dad hung up but they rang straight back. He told them to go ahead and try to disable the computer but nothing happened. He asked for the guy s name and number and he said he was Peter Connor and quoted this number. Someone must be able to track down these scum, wherever in the world they are and lock them up!
