Back again, they phoned my mobile yesterday and today my landline. Local garage had my contact numbers 2 years ago when I bought a car. In the past has just been postal advertising. The number is in Runcorn so misrepresentation of fact! Answered the phone with what are you selling, told them not to phone again as I don t want to buy a car. Must be a call centre in Runcorn, annoyed that local garage has sold or is using contact details for reasons beyond the original sale!!!

I missed answering, but thought it might be someone I know using a new SIM so I called it back. Got the number has not been recognised . So I was called by a non-existent phone!

Called twice within 30 minutes, same caller, claiming to be from two different companies. Pried for personal information. Obvious scammers of some kind. Blocked.

1st had a text sent to my land-line late last night, saying thank-you for going with Action direct PPI, I ignored it thinking it was a wrong number & I d not had any contact with this company. Someone calling from CAMHS which is child and adolescent mental health services. I told her I didn t have anyone at my address below the age of 18 and she must have the wrong number. To which she informed me if she had my number I did! Unfortunately for her I work for YOT and with CAMHS so sent her on her merry way. Very odd and I will be checking this out.?
