an Indian woman told me my computer was at risk online from third party access. Asked me to press two keys together then tell her what it said. I didn't press the keys but said my computer was old and it had crashed, she rang off after saying thank you for your time. Obviously a scam to access your computer fraudulently.

Call centre calling re my washing machine warrantee. Haven't got one! They used my name and wanted me to confirm my house number at the start of the call. I asked what warrantee did they mean? They hung up.
Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 16126501xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with "Congratulations, you've won / Congratulations, you've been chosen" but also PPI / insurance marketing. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). People did they call you with the same or something new?

Keep calling, always with different names, but same voice and same number and never says clearly his company name. Asking to qualify himself, shuts the phone. Possible scam.
