Tried a free app called call zapper today! I m sure there s loads similar ones available too! Answer silently (you have to be somewhere quiet!) then press home button and really quickly open the app then hit the FAX button and it plays the fax tone down the line to them! Let s see if it results in my number being deleted from their database! Give it a try and post up here how you get on!! PS It s not my app or anything (!) just sharing something I hope will work! JL

Saw the random number and predicted immediately it would be an insurance scammer. Sure enough, English sounding girl on the phone asking about recent accident. I get at least 1 or 2 missed calls from this No. a day.. I am a Vodafone customer but I haven t actually managed to answer the call so I am not sure if it is Vodafone as per the other comments. I wouldn t call back as I have heard of many scams where they charge you LOADS to return the call for 2 secs of call time. If it was that important the person would leave a message or write to you in the mail. As far as I am concerned we are not missing out on anything here by not answering the calls.
