Ian from some unsolicited energy company telesales asking wanting to speak to the bill payer for the electricity supply. When told we were on the TPS register he kept himself on hold for a minute and said he had reported it to his manager. Well if they were a decent company they should be using the latest TPS register but obviously they are another scamming company flouting ALL the rules. This number comes from a scammer with an Indian accent calling from outside Blackburn. He claims someone is hacking into your internet provider and wants your details to sort out the problem. He is persistent and throughout lockdown has claimed to be ringing on behalf of Amazon, BT, Virgin, credit card companies. Don’t give him any information. He is so stupid he thinks I don’t recognise his voice when he calls every two or three weeks.
SCAM CALL. Claimed to be from sky. Knew I had Sky package said I had technical issues. English not their first language. As a test I said no I don’t have technical issues, I don’t even have Sky! Her tone changed and she said “you do have sky the way you know is to look at your dish outside” Asked me to confirm details and I just felt suspicious. Her tone was really sharp and demanding saying I needed to confirm my details so they can fix the problem. Hung up and called Sky from my phone. they confirmed=SCAM

I urge everyone to complain to ofcom and the claims management regulator https://www.gov.uk/government/groups/claims-management-regulator The company is the accident support network and they also go by the name of media tactics. They have been calling me daily for over a month now depite me telling them to stop.

I had the same experience as Dani. I d cut them off as they couldn t give me any details of our BT account when they said that our internet was about to be cut off. I phoned BT and they confirmed that our internet service was ok and the call was probably a scam. I have now blocked this number

Fraud - Indian call centre claiming to be from O2 but hiding behind a UK number as you are more likely to answer it. Offered savings off my bill and free upgrade wanted my details to check and the one time pass code that O2 were going to send me. Its a massive fraud once they have your account info they will go on a spending spree using your details but changing the delivery address. Just hang up or do not answer.
