Money supermarket insurance unsolicited call - avoid.

My car was involved in an accident, 100% liability on other driver & is going through Motability insurance (both cars are on the scheme). So no idea as to why Hastings Direct are calling me & how the heck they got my phone number!! So searched the number & got a lot of responses saying it s marketing, untrustworthy & not to respond! I m not but want to put this out there for everyone else.

called on me on mobile asking my name and address and saying that I had been in an accident over the last year (I haven t) I laughed at the caller, told her I don t drive (which I don t)and don t have a car (which I don t). It seems its a scam as they called me as a car insurance company asking my bank card details for payming without sending me an email or post for the contract details!

Call with an offer of payment protection insurance. Very dodgy. Never give your credit card details to a caller! No idea where they took my number, anyway.
