SCAM / SPAM HMRC calling for a fraud under my name. A recorded voice says ''you HAVE to press 1'' to speak with an operator. I didn't press 1 but I assume it's scam because it's not the first time I received a call like this.

Silent call. Received a call from (07458 148209) on my mobile, although very few people know my mobile number. When I managed to answer there was nothing to be heard from the caller's end so I assumed it was some dodgy scammer. Someone on another site like this reported the caller to be an annoying or aggressive salesman from "Go-Assist" - this makes sense as I'd contacted them online about repairing a household appliance, decided their prices were far too high and deleted all their emails. My laptop takes 20 mins to start up and when I said this to him he said don't worry it won't take long... I think the longer your on call with these guys the worse it can get
