As everybody else said, an indian man called with lots of background noise claiming to be from Talktalk. He said there was a problem with the internet running slowly. Had I noticed this? I realised it was a scam and thought I d play along for a little. He asked if I had a PC or laptop so I lied and told him that I only had a tablet. This number has called me this week at least 10 times already - Minimum 2 to 3 calls per day. We ignore it now but it is an incredible nuisance.

Like many others, very rarely get calls to my landline. When I do, it s always Indians telling me I ve been in a car accident. I usually go along with it for giggles. I have yet to figure out exactly what they expect to scam from you. This time though it was a lady and I could hear multiple men in the background saying the same thing she was saying to me, to other people. I recommend making up elaborate stories for your own entertainment if you re not annoyed by these people yet.

Another scam amazon call, sick of these morons

Asian sounding lady claiming to be from 118 118 and asked for all my company info in order to update the 118 online listing for my business. No doubt they will use this information to sell on to third parties. She then asked me if I had ever heard of Timpsons the cobblers!?

Caller claimed to be from Serif UK, the software company. They wanted to do a survey, and when I told them I don t do surveys over the phone, nor do I confirm details someone claims to have about me, they slipped up and said they wanted to do a survey about my household finances, not the sort of thing Serif does. I regularly speak to Serif on other matters and never had this kind of conversation with them. I reckon they were out on a Phishing trip, but they didn t get even a nibble from me.
